Neel Jansen and Graciela MartĂnez Arribas are two prominent international artists and choreographers whose careers have been marked by their solid training and international expansion. Neel Jansen, born in Belgium, trained at the Antwerp Conservatory. His career as a professional dancer led him to join internationally renowned companies, such as the BĂ©jart Ballet Lausanne and the Munich State Theatre, where he worked with leading figures in contemporary dance, such as Maurice BĂ©jart and William Forsythe. Throughout his career, Neel has performed a wide range of works by renowned choreographers, becoming a leading figure in the modern and contemporary dance scene. Graciela MartĂnez Arribas, born in Madrid, trained at the Mariemma Professional Conservatory and has worked with world-renowned companies throughout her career. She was a member of the English National Ballet, the Leipzig Theater Ballet, the Nice Opera, the Basel Ballet, the Italian company Aterballetto, and the Munich Ballet. Her style, which fuses classical technique with contemporary language, has allowed her to excel on various international stages. Since 2010, Neel Jansen and Graciela MartĂnez Arribas began exploring the world of choreography, kicking off their career together with international projects in Shanghai, where they presented a series of works that reflected their shared artistic vision. These early works marked the beginning of their collaboration in the field of choreographic creation, which led them to found their own company, Lit Dance, in Switzerland in 2019. Neel and Graciela have created several works that have been presented in theaters and festivals across Europe, standing out for their experimental approach and the fusion of styles that characterizes their work. Furthermore, Lit Dance has received support from the Swiss State, which has allowed the company to continue its creative work and expand its impact on the Swiss and international stage. In addition to their work with Lit Dance, both choreographers have been invited to work on projects in Belgium, Germany, and Spain, where they have shared their artistic vision and created new works. The versatility of their style and their ability to work in diverse contexts has allowed them to continue evolving as artists and expand their influence within the world of contemporary dance.
